Letters from the Earth-and introduction

Dear Readers,
I wish to thank you for taking the time to stop by and read this, my account of my living in Russia for a year and my travels throughout Europe and Asia performing conerts, giving lectures, and meeting a great number of interesting folk.
I titled this 'Letters from the Earth" after a short work by Mark Twain of the same name, in which Satan, in this case a beloved and favored angel of the Almighty, is banished to Earth for a "Day" for opening his big mouth and commenting unfavorably on one of the Almighty's minor creations, humanity; the work presents Satan's letters to his friends, Michael and Gabriel, about his thoughts on humanity, who are nothing but an experiement of the Almighty's in morals and conduct and exude an inflated sense of self worth.
I am also presenting my blog as a series of personal letters addressed to Mark Twain, in a style which I hope that he would enjoy. I also thought that it might make more interesting reading.
Any similarities between myself and the main character of Mr. Twain's work are purely coincidental...
